Agrovet market animal health started its operations in 1994 with the aim of establishing new standards in the peruvian industry of veterinary pharmaceuticals, regarding innovation, quality of service and products. Founders had the objective of contributing to improve animal health care in a successful way through the elaboration of veterinary medicines oriented to prevent and treat several diseases of large production animals, pets and other domestic animals.
By going beyond the standards achieved, committing to the well being and training of our personnel and continuously creating and developing products with an emphasis on quality, we were able to adapt and expand into international animal healt products markets.
This dynamic and creative effort was recognized for the first time in year 2002, when our product hematofos b12®
received the “creatividad empresarial” («business creativity») award (animal pharm
). Then, in year 2004, the International council of press granted us the «trofeo de oro a la excelencia empresarial » (“gold trophy to business excellence”). Finally, we received the «premio a la empresa peruana del año en la categoría de productos veterinarios» («company of the year award in the category of veterinary products”) in 2005.
Therefore, we are committed to continue promoting this culture. We were able to enter more demanding animal healthcare markets and to compete inside and outside the country with the most important companies of the sector. The launching of products like doramec l.a.®, doraquest® l.a., fipronex® duo, ket-a-xyl®, catofos® b9+b12, proxifen® 23 l.a. strengthened our competitive spirit, which is an indispensable tool for the development of our activities.
Nowadays, after more than 13 years of hard work, we feel that we have achieved part of our objectives. But at the same time, we have a bigger commitment because we have not only positioned our line of over 100 pharmaceutic veterinary products throughout our country, but also, as pioneers in the export of veterinary medicines in peru, we are able to export a great quantity of them to Bolivia, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Malaysia, South Korea, Cyprus, Albania, Qatar (registries in other latin american, asian and african countries are in process), countries that represent already, more than 40% of our total sales of our animal health care products
